It has been a very busy week in the Chapman family. Nicole showed us that she can crawl last Wednesday during that weekend she started really pulling herself up on things, to include us. On Tuesday April 19 she went from laying flat to sitting, we havent seen that from her before. It feels like she is about to walk any day with so many changes going on. She absolutely will not eat baby food anymore. She still loves her puffs. She eats just about anything that we eat. She lets a little howl out when she sees food, so hope you arent hungry cause she wants to eat now. I had my surgery this past week on my nose, so far so good. No issues with it. A little tender and sore but that seems to pass more each day. Jake got to go out for the first time this year to go fishing. No fish to be seen but a good day on the water he said. Over the next few weeks we are going to be cleaning up the yard and getting some flowers planted. We leave in less than a month for California. So exciting.

Crawling
Jake took Nicole to daycare on the day of my surgery. When he came back he asked me if I knew she was crawling? ummm NO. Seems our little one is officially crawling. For the past few weeks she has had her left leg outstretched to the side of her and has done small scoots. Now she is using that leg to pull her along. Kind of funny. Lisa says she looks like a monkey walking.

Trip to Washington and Oregon
Me and my mom
Jake, Granny, Nicole and me
My favorite picture
The first picture of me and Jake not at work was taken here in 2004 and here we are again in 2011.
Took Nicole to see grandma Kathy and great granny Bernice. This trip Jake got to join us on. We realized that even though Nicole is a great traveler she likes to move a lot more now and was a handful on the plane. We stopped in Washington first and seen my mom for a day and then went to Oregon. On the way to Oregon stopped off at the Coach store and Carters for Nicole. It was a good trip. Went to Oregon to see Jakes aunt and uncle and his granny. She is not in the best of health and it was important to see her again. She had a hard time remembering us but smiled really big when she was with Nicole. This portion of the trip was hard on all of us, but in the end we enjoyed ourselves. It seems so soon till the wedding, when we travel next. 5 more weeks until we go to California. Very exciting to get to see everyone again and show off our little one to the family. And of course to see the wedding of Dust and Malia.
